Apparel
« on: January 24, 2014, 08:52:49 AM »
Drilled up two Radicals( Yeti Untamed and Reax.2) and have become a slappy for Radical.
Found a nice crew neck to represent for 25.95 GREAT DEAL!
Until checkout....
12.92 shipping to mi.
I just can't see paying nearly half the cost of the shirt to ship anywhere in the US.
For now it will be Seismic on my back and Radical in my bag.

bowling companies are really missing the boat on apparel.  Storm is the only company that is even remotely in the game.  A tshirt shipped to me is $22.90.  (NJ)

Ebonite - no tshirts, and the cheapest crew  neck shirt is 45 dollars before shipping
Brunswick - doesnt seem to exist, or is too hard to find on their site
Motiv- $35.49 shipped for a tshirt
C300 - same as Ebonite
DV8- $31.69 shipped for a tshirt
Hammer & Track are same as the other EBI brands.  Hammer has 2 tshirts but most sizes are sold out.

I agree. DV8's prices used to be pretty inexpensive compared to the others. I understand that these need to make money, but I also think it's free advertising for the company so the prices should reflect that a bit (i.e. I'd want to ENCOURAGE bowlers to buy my apparel by offering it at good prices).

Go on each website into the apparel section.  Add a tshirt to your cart then go through the checkout process.  I'm sure prices vary depending on where you live.  I am in NJ.

I was hoping this thread would have something about pants.  I need to get some pants to go bowling in besides jeans.  Do you have a preferred pair of pants you wear to bowl?  Why?  I would think a special loop on some pants to hold your towel would be a good idea.

I hope you don't wear spandex hot pants to bowl in. :)

You go to the Pants Store. That's where Ron Burgundy goes.

I went to your (Radical) website https://radicalbowlingapparel.com/. I found the shirt I liked in the outerwear sec RBT478 and when I went to checkout I got hit with the shipping. It's not that I can't afford it so much as the the idea of paying half again for shipping. I was a big Dyno fan back in the day so when I found you guys I was happy to give your products a shot.
Glad I did. Nothing but raves on the two I tried.

The pants I wear are Fila for golf. They are pull on like sweats but they have front and rear pockets with a faux fly and no elastic at the cuff. Also all black without a side stripe. Comfortable as sweats but pass inspection at golf courses with a dress code. Also legal at the USBCs and most other tournaments. No loops though so you'll have to leave your towel behind.

I've ordered from dv8 and Brunswick. My dv8 hoodie is a favorite and the long sleeve tee is also very nice. Brunswick did some very nice shirts for me. That being, said the Brunswick site is hardly ever updated and the selection is not very good . I like the set up of the sister brands so much better and the prices are reasonable. After drilling my V2 I'm very interested in the Radical  wind jacket. As far as the other brands Storm seems pricey to me. They are after all bowling ball companies and probably don't make awhole heck of a lot off shirts .

You worried about how it looks?  I'm always looking for some place to put my towel.  Would rather just stick in my pocket but it's too bulky.
