Drilled up two Radicals( Yeti Untamed and Reax.2) and have become a slappy for Radical.
Found a nice crew neck to represent for 25.95 GREAT DEAL!
Until checkout....
12.92 shipping to mi.
I just can't see paying nearly half the cost of the shirt to ship anywhere in the US.
For now it will be Seismic on my back and Radical in my bag.

Most only market shirts towards its staff members and some promotions for proshops. Its not their primary focus and agree its a missed opportunity.

I could not agree more that these companies miss the mark on apperal. But with that being said, i do find that if you want quality, you will pay for it.
I actually play a lot of softball, and recently got a softball jersey, same sytle as the pro ones, to match my diva. While it does not say DV8 or Diva on it, the colors match and it supported a good cause.

I'll look into the cost of the shipping. Sound a bit strange that the shipping is 12.92 to Michigan when it is shipping from Indiana.

I will say that bowlers in general do not see the value in the company name. Now don't go off and rip into me over this, you all know how much I support the forum and the bowlers. So hear me out. How many people pay $140 for an MLB, NBA or NFL jersey? They show support for a team because they are fans, basically giving them free advertising. We sell a shirt for $30 and get grieve over the pricing yet we are the one supporting the game at the league level all the way up to the pba. We make very little if anything on apparel. We have staffers at the amateur level, how many of you are staffers of the NFL team you support and hold season tickets. We get 30 or more request a week for players of every talent level looking for staff positions or comp balls. How many letters did the Broncos get this week for staff positions or free footballs.
I'm not saying we are the NFL that's why our shirts are $30 not $140. I just feel we can do a better job supporting the companies that support the game.

Very well said Phil. I grew up in the bowling industry and have always been amazed how bowlers in general don't want to pay for things. Make the center look nice but don't you dare raise league lineage a buck every five years.

Phil -- The OP didn't complain about the price of the shirt, but the price of the shipping, and I agree with him. Companies try to make money on shipping. In this case you're charging $12.92 to ship the shirt, the USPS charges $5.80 for a small flat rate box that's plenty big to ship a shirt. Add a little, say $2 to pull the shirt from inventory, put it in the box, and print a label and you should be able to ship it for at most $7. The advertising you get from someone wearing the shirt should be worth that much, especially for a relatively new company. Suggestion: price the shirts with shipping included, then you'll be hiding how much you make from shipping. -- JohnP

I agree with your rant about the tshirts. The issue I see is that high 5, and g 2g are overpriced of what you get. The softball jerseys we always got only cost 50 including set up. If they used stock logos, color schemes and allowed just addition of the names on back, I think more would b bought. I would also like to see them make replicas of the pro jerseys at a discount. All customer would need to do is get their size.

I hear what you're saying and I have no doubt that it's true. But it's not everybody. I just got into bowling seriously one year ago (in tune with my son getting into the sport). A few months ago I discovered radical and made the Torrid Affair my first new ball purchase. Prior to that I bought a couple used balls and moved thumbs. In the last month I have added a new Times Up and a new Grease Monkey. I don't want a staff position. I don't want free shirts or balls. What I would like though is the ability to order a nice shirt that says Radical at I can also put my name on. No sites I've been to have afforded that simple option. Maybe I'm missing it, if so I would love to be steered in the right direction.

But I saw another post on this site a couple days ago for a site that sells personalized gear, and it says Radical is restricted to staffers. Then I come here and hear "we don't do staffers". What's the deal? Can I get a Radical jersey made? I'm happy to pay to advertise for you guys. I love the equipment. I'd love to spread the word and pay for the privilege. Seriously.

First of thank you for the support it is greatly appreciated. I'll try to explain best I can. We offer shirts through a license deal on our website. We are a ball company and don't pretend to be able to do shirts or bags very well. I m looking into the reason the freight was so high as earlier reported.
Regarding your question. The PBA has an agreement with a shirt compmay to be exclusive. That is a discussion for another day. Because of their agreement we have to allow them to make name shirts for our staffers. We don't get a license fee from them so they can not sell to anyone except staffers. My solution is to order one of our shirts from our web site which actually takes you to the licensee site. Get that shirt and have a local screen company put your name on it. It will be a significantly better deal. Hold off until I get to the bottom of the freight issue which started the thread.

That's just crazy enough to work. I didn't know there was such things as local careening companies, but I'll look into it. Still a little confused why I can get my son a storm jersey with his name on it but you can't get a radical jersey with your name on it, but you're probably right, DIY solution is likely a lot cheaper.

New to the Radical group and really do like the reaction I am getting from my newly acquired Reax Pearl v1. I also appreciated the quick response to a question about layout that I got via an email.

I myself just checked out the apparel and I am impressed with the options, although simple (not flashy). Very nice selection for someone to where on league nights or to tournaments to promote their favorite brand. The shipping to me here in Nebraska was $14.22 per item, which means when I added a towel the shipping doubled! Wow, yeah I don't think your gonna get many sales at that rate. I'm sure Phil is looking into this and will be handled.

Once the freight is fixed we will all be sporting the best ball brands logo! Not just tooting your horn, with Phil and Mo at the same brand, how can it not be the best made balls!!! Well ok I am tooting a little, just always been impressed with balls made by the companies which these two were apart of in the past.

Ok here is the scoop, as I said we license out the brand for apparel, the freight is the rate charged by UPS or Fed Ex. It is high because the licensee requires that the shipment must be traceable and insured. There is no additional freight expense added. we are looking into it but I think that is the culprit.

Well what ever the "culprit" is, I for one, will not be paying $28.44 to have a shirt and a towel shipped within the US, maybe to another country but not in the US. That amount of money to have items this small shipped is embarrasing.
