What conditions is the org black guru good on?  Is it to much ball for s medium house shot?

For me, out of box it was too much ball for almost every condition. I brought it up to 4000 grit and it came alive on most heavier house patterns and medium/long sport shots. It depends on your style and specs, but it's my go to ball for the conditions I mentioned. I'm about 15mph / 250-300 rpm's, for the record.

I believe it will really matter on your stats and surface preparation. If you are rev impaired like myself, I do not think it is too much ball. You need to remember that this ball will allow you to play outside of your comfort zone - keep moving and it keeps hooking.

A low flare drilling may also help you throw the OG Guru longer on THS.

Newguy would certainly be best to answer this.

As was said earlier, it all depend on your style. I think the surface is very adjustable. I'm not a big fan of drilling out performance, we do have a full line of performance balls that will fit nearly all conditions.

From what I have seen the ball is very versatile if you tune the surface to what you need it to do.  I've seen the ball work well on oily lanes and on dry lanes.  A little surface adjustment gave it almost the same motion on both conditions.
