I cleaned my yeti for the first time, I use a cocktail (91%alcohol,white vinegar, few drops dawn orig soap) and I was surprised at how much the color was coming out of the ball, the paper towel was completely red&purple.... Anyone else have this happen?
the ball rolled AMAZING , but I just wanna make sure its normal and/or a not to worry thing..

for the last 4-5 years my bag has been almost all Brunswick(with some morich/Brunswick covers.). over those years I've noticed all of the red or balls with red in them will bleed that color during cleaning. I always use 70% rubbing alcohol as a cleaner. I don't know why this happens. I really never asked about it. I've never noticed a decrease in performance.
unless you hear otherwise, I wouldn't be to concerned.

I have the Reax, yesterday I used a white paper towel...normally I use the black micro fiber towel that comes with DV8 balls. Anyway I used 91% alcohol for the first time by itself... I looked at the towel and there was a tanish color on it. I thought it was the gold lettering so i cleaned a small area where there are no letters and the same thing happened. If you look close at the reax color it is not solid black, there is a tinge of reddish in there...I work with colors all day so I can notice this, BUT something does bleed out of the ball.

No color on the towel other than dirt......

Have a Brunswick Wild Thing that does the same.
It bleeds so much red, you would think it was that time of the month.

I work in printing and although its probably not the same thing used in bowling balls, the inks we use will come off or stain in varying degrees based on the color. Blues, Purples and Reds tend to be the world worst about getting off, often times they won't at all, its just not as bright.

My guess it has something to do with the type of coloring agent they used on certain batches, or whatever drying/hardening agent they used didn't blend as  well and its allowing certain chemicals to re-wet the dies.

Often times if I miss  a spot of ink and then go back a day or so later after its dry and hit it with alcohol, it will become wet again and wipe off. Wouldn't surprise me at all if a version of the same thing isn't happening.
