Counter Attack vs Twist
« on: August 19, 2019, 05:30:19 PM »
I have a really beat up Twist right now and was looking to replace it with the Counter Attack Pearl for burn.   Any info on the difference no matter how slight it may be would be great.

Thanks

900 Global After Dark pearl.  Best "burn" ball I have ever thrown on a THS.

From what I've seen the Counter Attack is good bit stronger than the Twist. Twist is one of the weakest reactives on the market

I wanted something a little stronger than the twist when it stops hooking. I went with the hustle ink. I couldn't find a Brunswick ball that wasnt a lot more hook. I was tempted by the counter attack solid but the ink was proven with high praise

I have the Counter Attack solid. It is on par with Roto Grips Hustle series. Very useful all around ball, especially for medium and broke down patterns.

I don't have the pearl yet. From what I've seen, it's a bit stronger than the Twist, though that Twist can be drilled to give a strong reaction as well.

I'm not sure that I would consider a Counter Attack pearl for the burn however! I would go with the CA pearl when my solid is standing up too soon on the dry!

One of the best new balls for the true burn is the Track Heat. When I'm on the burn I just use older, milder coverstock pieces like RG Pluto or Global Link.

Great choice on the Ink, special light oil ball.
