I'm biting on the Conspiracy Theory. The supposed ball motion intrigues me, and this line has been pretty successful. Will report back when a decent amount of games are on it.

I really wish the Closer had the old Vendetta core as that is sure what the graphics and marketing remind me of.   With that cover I bet it would be sweet.

Just picked up a Closer today. I only threw it a game on the broken down THS, but the Closer impressed me. It reminds me of a sightly stronger version of my Hammer Web, which is currently my go-to ball. Anyway, the outsides were trashed, so the only line the pocket for my medium revs was a tighter shot around the third arrow. Medium pocket hits were driving the 5 into the 7, which is always a good sign.

I also got a DV8 Verge, which will be a nice stronger compliment. I just rolled 1 game with it. Compared to the Closer, I was playing 3-4 boards further left (feet/target), and the carry was good.

Brunswick/Radical/DV8 is putting out some really good equipment. For awhile, they've been badly overshadowed by Storm and EBI. The Brunswick stuff is worth a look if you're open to other brands.

After some time with the Conspiracy Theory I can say it's pretty much what Radical was hyping it up to be. It rolls early and often, yet still retains enough energy to drive through the pocket instead of deflecting off towards the 9 like a lot of these high asymmetrical balls usually do for me. Not quite snappy off the spot even with an angular layout but still pretty defined. I don't know, it's different.

Definitely needs oil for any kind of recommended use. Out of the two houses I bowl at I've only been able to use it at one for an actual game, and on one lane for a set at another (that was a fun night). One thing I've noticed is that this cover isn't really getting any oil rings burned into it. I wipe after every shot and clean every time, but usually the track is noticeable regardless. Not so with this ball. Just something that caught my attention that I haven't seen before.

Now even though I really like this ball it's a hard recommendation. At least if you're trying to fit it in a specific spot for an arsenal. It kind of takes over the top spot in my bag where the asym with surface sits, but I still carry and use another one regularly (Mastermind Einstein). Even being a pearl it's not clean and flippy, I've played with the surface some to see if I could nudge it closer that way and it wasn't having it. That particle(ish) cover wants to read and it does.

If you're looking for a good ball to use in oil this is a pretty safe bet. Trying to fill a specific spot/motion in a bag? Ehh... there are other options out there with more defined/clear-cut reactions. Very happy with the ball though.

Interesting take. It proves to me again that bowlers will see a ball completely different based on lane conditions, style, and a lot of other factors.

To the Conspiracy Theory (CS):  I tested it out at a Brunswick Demo Days that had most of the recent Brunswick/DV8/Radical releases. The CS was one of the few balls I threw that was a no-go for me. I wasn't a bad ball. It reads the mids OK and it has a controllable backend. But it's essentially another skid/flip type pearl that works great on the fresh, but starts to labor when it has to read carry down. I found the "textured pearl" cover description to be a nice marketing plug, but doesn't change the fact that it's essentially a shinny pearl with all the good and bad that go with that category of ball. If that's the kind of ball you're looking for, then it should be considered.

For me, the Prism Hybrid was the ball I had though the Conspiracy Theory would be. It not only read the lanes well on the fresh, but I was effectively able to move in and turn the corner with transition. I bought that ball and it's been my go-to THS ball over the past month.

Yeah, completely different. I don't see skid/flip at all and that's kind of what I had it drilled for. It eats through carrydown better than any polished ball I've ever used. Seems to like lane shine better than actual polish. I don't understand it but man I like using it when able.
