What's equal to an Untamed
« on: April 13, 2015, 07:10:46 PM »
I was looking for an Untamed and can't seem to find one. I was wondering what piece you feel is close to the Untamed? Thanks in advance.

…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Bowlersdeals.com also have them in inventory. There's also some on eBay.com.

It took me a while to figure out how to use an Untamed on tournament shots. Much of that had to do with surface preparation. It has since become one of my best tournament pieces.

For whatever it's worth, I've been told by a Radical staffer that the Yeti line replacement will be coming out soon.

It's a little more controlled but the Grease Monkey Whack! is about the closest currently in the line.

I just bought the last 15# that Buddiesproshop had, but they still have 16# left in stock.  They were out for awhile and then all of a sudden, a few 15# and 16# showed up on their site and by the time I got around to ordering, they only had the one 15# left, so they may end up getting a few more in stock.

Thanks for the heads up. I used mines that I had more like a benchmark ball until I brought the Score. I had to mess with the cover a few times till I found the right one that worked well for me. Thank you again.

Thanks Rob. Mo emailed me and suggested the Pow from that line. Your thoughts make sense more so with the core being a smaller finger scoop.

Man it's tough. I have been online and once I get around to contacting them to make the purchase the ball is gone. lls I will check back with them.

Usually from you, of course. Chatter floats in the wind. In the industry, you know leaks happen quickly through 3rd party sources.

I don't recall posting any names. But since that is the case and things will get posted just for the sake of showing all the they may know something no one else does. I guess I'll share less info with the ball reviews crowd.
