Final thoughts on the Radical Slant HD

P.O.S.

Well it split in half, It didn't even have 30 games on it. I was afraid to use it after the cracking around the holes.

It was sitting in a cushioned chair in my computer room, no temperature fluctuations etc. and it split in half.

Well at least all I had in it was the cost of getting it drilled, inserts and then getting the cracked out finger holes  fixed and redrilled and new inserts.

Had the same thing happen with an AMF Hawk with less then 20 games in the same conditions. I drilled the ball and less then 4 months later it was dead.

Since I no longer use finger inserts I no longer have the issue. Funny how things go.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Over on Bowlingchat it was suggested that because it was on a chair. the chemicals in the upholstery caused it to crack.

Some one needs to make a stasis box or a zero-G ,vacuum storage container for bowling balls.

My guess would it may be a by product of the plug job.Large plugs can generate a lot of heat and the only ball that I,ve had a similar issue with also was located next to a large plug job.

No, what they need to do is more research into how to make bowling balls that perform, yet don't crack.
