First night with the Score
« on: October 13, 2014, 08:33:02 AM »
Received the Score Friday afternoon and had them drilled Friday night so I could get some testing in before using it this week.
213 (operator issues), 279, 259 = 751
After getting my issues corrected at the end of the first game 3 ten pins were all that I left those last 2 games. I see this as being a great benchmark ball and a good addition to a tournament arsenal.

Radical is going to have a promotion for the Score starting at the end of October and running till the end of May. There is $59000 in cash and prizes that is available to the Bowler and Pro Shop operator for a 300 shot using the Score. See http://radicalbowling.com/uploads/downloads/Radical_Score_300_Contest_Form_092314.pdf for complete rules and entry form.

This ball looks interesting. I'd really like to see a lot of it, it seems the team at Radical went with a weaker cover on a strong core since their suggested lane condition is "medium". I've always done fairly well with balls that have a stronger core and weaker cover

It's like the Bounty program Phil had at 900G.

They wanted to create the best benchmark ball and I really like what I saw out of it last night. Looking forward to giving it another run tonight.

It's a very smooth rolling ball. I enjoyed throwing it as well as the Guru. Radical is doing an excellent job with the items that's being release. The most complete line on the market.

Had another solid night with the Score (736). Really like the strong smooth backend from the Score makes reading the lane transition from game to game very easy.

Just purchased my first Radical. The Guru. If that ball rolls well I think the Score could be next.

Seriously, the Score is one of the best benchmark balls I've had. Shot 773 last week with some help with the Yeti Uncaged in the last game (another great ball). Has the great REAX core with a nice coverstock that helps it get down the lane better than the original REAX. Price point also, nothing beats it... this is a no brainer if your looking for a ball to Score ... no pun intended  ;)

I just "scored" a Score..... :P

Drilled mine strong (3 1/2" pin, P3 hole) but I'm thinking at 2000 this ball may need some more oil and come into play on sport patterns and patterns with heavier volume.

Quick question:  How much OVERALL strength is everyone seeing with this ball?

I do believe I'm going to adjust surface to 3000 or so, but just wanted to guage general thoughts here...

No sales pitches/company lines please!

Mines drilled with a longer pin to pap (4 1/2") but also a p3 hole. This is my go to ball, benchmark reaction. After bowling a good number of games with it, the only time I cant bowl with that ball is when it's flooded or when there isn't enough head oil. Anything else, this ball is money. Pricewise, its a no brainer, assym hi end core with a great cover. Hope this helps, pretty sure you'll love it. Keep us informed.

Well the Demo day paid off.   Didn't have the $$ for the score at demo day, but my lovely wife did a end around on me and talked to my driller and a new score was under my tree for Christmas.

Drilled 40*5*70 and it is silky smooth.  good length and a nice arc on the back end. Fit in really well when my REAX2 started to grab to early.  Well done Mo and Phil!
