Had a Varipapa plus by stringing the last 11 strikes in game 2 and the first 7 strikes in game 3 before leaving a ring 10 in the eight frame followed by a strike, followed by another ring 10 (and miss) in the 10th frame. Lost the left lane carry the next game until I moved further right but too late in the game. Love my ReaX, drilled 35 x 4 1/4" x 30 for good mid-lane reaction. I had a board left and right of my down lane break point for three games tonight (all four games on the right lane). Oh yeah, lanes 15 and 16 are usually one of the tougher pairs to string strikes. So, all in all, a good night at Johnson Lanes in Sun City West. This is my fifth series using the ReaX. Four of the five have been 717 or higher for three games with the low series 643. 230 average with a low game of 199. My composite average of the most recent 2200 games is 208 so the ReaX is making a noticeable difference in my results. Yes, They put out a 37' ~25 mL in the morning and follow this up with a fill run (additional conditioner in the heads and mid-lane) prior to their evening leagues. Also, the house uses Brunswick Pro Anvilane synthetics. I'm a speed and revs matched bowler (18 mph release, ~16 mph down-lane, 270-330 rpm, depending on release). I keep the ReaX at 1500-grit using a 1500-grit NEAT pad on a ball spinner. (I love the surface reaction and appearance I get using the NEAT pads though they are a little on the expensive side.) Recently, I've been using a Radical Torrid on drier conditions with the cover at 4000-grit using a 4000-grit NEAT pad. I was a little surprised how useful the ReaX is at 1500-grit on medium THS and sport conditions. I was expecting that a 2500-grit or 4000-grit may be needed on these medium conditions but the ReaX gets down the lane well for me. I may try it at finer surfaces later but it fits well in my bag as my first out ball on heavy to medium conditions.
