Yeti Unleashed first time out
« on: March 10, 2014, 08:05:54 AM »
Gave the Unleashed a chance to stretch it legs this weekend, used it the first 3 games of 6 game block, at Conroe Scratch Doubles on the Kegel Dead Man's Curve pattern and it gave me the recovery without using itself up that I needed, even though the pins didn't agree. Then last night in league it drew all kinds of attention as it is giving me some extra room and just destroys the rack. Another great piece to the ever expanding Radical line.

Are you throwing it OOB? Whats the layout? What are your specs?

Left it OOB and wow it is everything Mo said it was going to be!
Laid it out with my favorite layout 45 x 5 9/16 x 70 (Pin Down).  Here is link to picture of it on the Radical web site: http://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/t1/s720x720/1904274_292569954230864_111481273_n.jpg
Rev Rate: 350
MPH: 16 @ cameras
PAP: 5.5" -> 1/8"^

Looking for a symetrical core ball that hooks? Here it is!

Love the layout that you selected for that ball; as someone that only wants to see you get better, you should probably drill another one up and move the pin up over your ring finger with the cg near the same position-- just so the rest of us can hear of your reports :-)

Radical has quickly grown into my favorite ball company; my Reax (when I find enough oil to use it) is one of those balls that I literally expect to strike every time I throw it-- the Yeti is on my wish list, as is the original Torrid for "later in the day" at tournaments. Great company, great equipment, and an eccentric ball/core designer.... what's not to like about it?
Reax-45x4.5x40(pin down)
Nexus (original)- 45 x 4 x 35 (pin up)
503t-45x4.5x40
Source-60 x 5.5 x 50
Nexxxus f(p+s)-70x5.5x35
Marauder-55x5x50 (2k+polish)
300t-60x5.5x50 (+polish)
Melee-75x6x40 -- Anyone want to buy this?

790 with 2 opens with my new yeti unleashed.. its a great ball thats for sure   i drilled it pin over ringf inger and kicked 1" right  the CG is 1 1/2" right of center line with max side.. this ball doesnt stop rolling :)
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

First 2 set with mine have been 738 & 753. Very impressed with the roll and carry of the Unleashed.

Mo suggested for me to double thumb an unleashed to compliment my mastermind and black relax.

Finally got to drill my Unleashed, actually drilled 2. since I'm more Rev dominate than speed dominate I drilled one with the pin under my middle finger about 5 inch from my PAP cg in the center of the grip and one with the pin above the fingers about 5 inch from my pap with the cg in the middle of the grip. Hit both with the 4000 si air pad. Used the pin under first night 279, 258, 212 with 2 6-8's and an open in the tenth.
Used it last night first two games shot 239, 229 switched to pin up last game 258. Ball is a blast.
