The video said more HOOK, so since they are the same finish perhaps the cover has an additive that enhances its ability to hook I'm oil.

Its all about the additives in the cover, we have a multitude of additive options, we have just begun to explore, this is one of them. It offers more hook but amazingly enough it is very continuous.

Highly unlikely  ( not going to ). The Guru line will be noted for hook, the new Guru Master is HOOK IN A BOX. The 3 Guru's all have distinct motions.

Don't read into that, it what was shipped up from the factory. We are all about the numbers after drilling we could have created the same motion with a shorter pin. Look at the charts we have on our web site.

Nick is right on, we changed the ratios of the additives and were able to dial in the exact motion. We wanted a stronger mid lane and a very continuous motion down lane. All reports are this ball hooks a lot more than the Original but is allow for a very continuous motion through the pins.

Isn't the Guru Mighty a pearl?

Guru Mighty is a hybrid. I know surface is the biggest factor but the Guru Mighty's cover still seems a little too strong for what I'm looking for

Check out the low flare drillings that allow you to us the stronger stuff and take advantage of the strong core and cover but reduces the flare potential so you get all the benefits of the Guru with out the excessive hook.

Newguy mentioned 5 boards stronger and I would agree. I have thrown the Master on many different patterns from house to Mexico City and it is the strongest ball in my bag. Compared to the original Guru it just reads more in the midlane and it continues much better in my opinion. It is an amazing ball. I bowl in a sport lge at my home center and we put out Mexico City for 3 weeks. The 3rd week I had the Master and Mo happened to be there that week. I played deeper than I had the 2 prior weeks with the intention of burning a hole. It is a dbls lge so trying to blow a hole in the pattern takes some time. I hung in there for 3 games and then the 4th game I shot 250 something and if we would have kept bowling it would have been game on. The Master allowed me to play in close to where the higher rev guys play moving me away from 2nd arrow where you are flirting with a washout if you leak it right. Mo has been a tremendous help to me and our shop and I urge folks to book a lesson or attend his seminars when he is in your area. Mike Mineman.
