Rack Attack Solid (Low flare layout) #moneyinthebank
« on: August 31, 2016, 08:49:05 AM »
As a staffer I try to do different things to help me get the right ball and layout in every bowler hands. I have an issue with ball speed (14mph) and lack hand (290 rev rate). So light conditions and break down kills me. So I looked at the catalog and decided to get a Rack Attack to help fill a void in my bag. I went with a low flare layout 80 x 2 x 30 to also help with a shape that would allow me to get better carry on lighter conditions. I heard good things about this ball and man it was dead on. For a solid it's cleaner than I thought. The ball got down lane and when it read friction it didn't over react like it was kicked to the pocket. It was very smooth but it didn't lack any hit. This ball hit very hard and if I was anywhere near the pocket it carried. I was able to play every angle and allowed me to have options when I bowled. If you're looking for a good league ball or a ball that is for lighter conditions you must get this ball. I always look at the sales rack and try to back fill gaps when I can. I'm very happy with this ball and want to order the pearl and maybe another solid with an aggressive layout. I also thought about a motion hole layout one as well.  ;D

The Rack Attack is a lower end ball that don't lack in performance because of the lower price. You will get a smooth reaction that allows you to read transition better as well as allowing you to take advantage of the friction areas on the lane. If you're a sport shot player you will love this ball for shorter patterns and make some surface adjustments. For THS bowlers just slap your favorite layout on it and get you some pads to adjust the surface to fine tune the reaction to your liking.

Every style of bowler can find a spot in their bag for this ball. Also you get a lot of ball for the money.

^^^Truth^^^

Have one myself with a slightly stronger layout and by tweaking the surface and playing more of a "standing on my breakpoint" line, it's definitely a keeper.

Picked up the pearl first and that has a slightly weaker layout and needs more friction to really shine.

I have been thinking about the pearl as well. I slept on this ball when it came out.
