I agree with the original Guru with the right surface prep would work on many conditions and it does work well when putting polish on it or sanding it. The Guru would be better for heavier oil conditions. I have used the Guru on longer oil patterns like the new PBA Scorpion to get a stronger midlane roll, and on a house shot when I need to move left into the puddle but still have a strong overall motion. Mine is drilled pin under and it still has plenty of energy down lane.
The Ridiculous would be good for medium oil conditions or a house shot. I agree that the Ridiculous has a hockey stick reaction and would be good for when you can throw it to the friction. This is a new reaction type for the radical line, and lives up to the billing of a strong backend motion. I have used the Ridiculous on a house shot and on a sport shot when I need to get a stronger backend motion.
