Phil doesn't like to do bags or accessories, but I think he said in a pod cast recently that he would have new bags coming soon...

I was actually going to say, Phil and Mo are in the business of making bowling balls. They don't really care about the other stuff

Ultimately, Phil is in the business of making money. That mean bowling accessories in addition to the core bowling ball business. They may not care, but they care....

I would love to say the name on the bag doesn't matter but I recently shelled out $100 for a 3 ball roller with probably 10 year old tech just because it said Banger on it (couldn't find a Visionary).  Don't regret a thing as old or not bag is amazing and odds are good won't see three of them every tournament.

Yeah was on Bowlercellar before they went offline.  Pretty neat.  Not the slimmest full featured one out there but sturdy.

We have 3 bags in the line a 2 ball tote with a shoe pouch, a 3 ball tournament bag and a 3 ball deluxe roller. The Red and Black colors are what we selected. Our customers are mostly the higher end players and are not usually concerned about having new colors. They only care about getting the balls into the league or tournament. Beside I think it makes us different, not changing colors every year like the competition makes it easy for the shop and the distributor, besides we never have to worry about discontinued product.

Really?
So where does Radical stack up in the scheme of things vs. Storm/Roto Grip, EBI (Ebonite, Hammer, Columbia 300, Track) who are making a substantial profit on their accessories line?
Change, color, new innovation sells in today's market.

First of all EBI doesn’t do bags, shoes and accessories. They license their brands to a company that has a fully dedicated team to manage that part of their business. So I pose the question if it were so profitable why aren’t they doing it themselves. Look at the Roi and decide if it’s worth the effort and cost associated with that portion of the business.

Isn't that the same company that is doing Brunswick's bags, or did kr stop doing those?

I don't know that I or anyone other than EBI themselves, know the details of their licensing agreements.  A standard licensing fee business model usually includes a global fee for the use of the name itself, plus perhaps an additional fee per unit sold.
If their model includes a "per unit sold", then change, color, new innovation applies.
Maybe some EBI company representative in the know can comment.  I doubt it, as their licensing agreements are most likely confidential.  Maybe not?
