COMMENTS:
I've stated on here a few different times that this ball is a heavy hooking beast that feeds on oil. At box finish it was too much ball for most conditions I face. Even on the fresher conditions, and in one of the heavier oiled houses I typically bowled in.
For lower rev players and speed dominate players this ball at box finish will no doubt be a great ball to have. For most others you will want this ball for some heavy oil. Otherwise prepare to move in deep early.
The Reax was drilled identical to my Aura Paranormal. The Reax at box finish was a much stronger bowling ball. It started reading the lanes sooner and hooked more overall. The Reax is as advertise. I tried the Reax at three different house at box finish and in all three it require me to start in a lot deeper then I'd prefer to be when just starting the first game.
I tried adding some Track Clean and Sheen to see if that would help tame the ball over all. It worked okay. It gave the ball a little more length which was nice but the ball was still a hand full down lane. Overall it was still a hooking a lot.
Next I went to some 3m Finesse-it with a heavy buff. This shinned the ball up nicely. Had the shelf appeal of the Versa Max. This made the ball a little more of a skid flip monster. I was able to play further right and stay there longer with out losing any of the strong hitting power. The ball was still aggressive down lane but a lot more controllable for me. Even compared to the Aura Paranormal at the same polished finish the ball was much stronger.
There is nothing more I can add to give better details that the ball is a hooking beast. The core revs strong and the ball really reacts hard. I think Radical and Mo have come up with something great. For those going to Nationals or bowling on sport leagues with flatter and heavier patterns this ball will be a true asset to have.
It handles surface adjustments well and gives the bowler a few more options to help adapt it to every day use. It is still a hooking monster, don't let anything fool you other wise.
