Reax black; where does it fit in Ball Reaction Chart?
« on: December 10, 2015, 01:00:39 PM »
Just getting back into bowling; looking for something that will fit nicely between my original Reax (52 x 3 3/4 x 42) and a Hyroad (70 x 3 5/8 x 40).  I like the Reax, but looking for something that moves a little more on the backend but is predictable.

Thanks!

If you are looking for a stronger earlier reaction from Radical I would Suggest the Guru Master.  It should be earlier than the Reax and should handle more oil.

Thanks for the reply.  Looking for something that fits in between the Reax & Hy-Road; more backend than the Reax.

I would suggest a Score. Cleaner than the Reax, same core. It is also on clearance in some places.

Looking at the Radical ball reaction chart, the score doesn't seem to fit what I'm looking for.  I'm thinking more in the direction of a Reax v2.

The Score and the Reax Version 2 are good options.  The Scores are on closeout most places.  If you are interested in the Version 2 and can't find one else where we still have one in stock at the shop.  Another option in the new line would be the Primo Solid.  I would think based on design intent that would fit in right between the two.

Thank you!  I wanted the v2 when it came out, but that was about the time I had to step away from the sport.  Life happens!

Since you said more backend, I would definitely go with a ridiculous. The ball is clean through the front and makes a strong move when it encounters friction. I've drilled 2, 1 pin up and another pin down!! I get about 3-5 boards difference between the 2.

Thank you Mr. Miller!  Any idea how the Ridiculous compares to a Hy-Road?

From what I've seen with the hyroad, the ridiculous is stronger on the backend and a little more overall hook. You will love this ball, it's one of those special ones!!!
