I just drilled my Ridiculous Pearl this weekend. I went to the Radical Forum on FB to ask others what layout I should go with. Everyone mostly said MOtion Hole it. Many that know me that I'm a MOtion hole fan. As of late to provide better reviews for others I went with other layouts and gotten away from this layout. I loved the first one and wanted a cleaner cover to make a nice 1-2 punch for THS leagues/tourneys.

When I first threw the ball I smiled at how clean this ball was. Also this layout provide good length with great backend. When I saw other vids I saw how the cover respond to friction very well. So when the ball hit friction I was shocked at what I saw. The ball made a move but it wasn't an uncontrolled move. When it read the friction it made it move smoothly and drive thru the pocket hard. As I moved inside the ball recovery was outstanding. This was what I wanted in my bag. I wanted a ball that when I had to move inside I had a ball that would allow me to walk in and don't lose hitting power to kick corners out. I also have slow ball speed and lack of hand. This ball took care of both issues and a great ball to shift to when I need something cleaner with a shape that is very playable. This line is one of my favs and with the MOtion hole layout it meshed well with my solid. The solid was laid out with the mid lane label drilling. So when that one start to labor a bit this piece is what the doctor ordered. Very clean, same performance mid lane as solid, and the backend is outstanding. This is a ball that can turn the corner, but didn't jump off the spot like my Limited did. (Will talk about limited in another post :-) )

Overall:

This is a great THS ball to have in your bag. The shape isn't like another in the line that Radical have. This is also a great ball for those that have lower ball speeds and need something to get down lane. If you lack hand the recovery of this ball is second to now. You get a lot of ball for the price as well. those who have high ball speed it would be a great ball for break down. Those that don't could use it first ball out of bag. The MOtion hole layout made this ball great for a need that was in my bag. It's 5-6 boards weaker than the Limited. More angular than solid by five boards and added length which is expected. This is a must buy and thanks to Radical for being the leader in bowling technology. It feels good to have the best equipment that can help you compete. You can't ask for more.
