slant mini review
« on: September 01, 2013, 03:08:31 PM »
I picked up a slant on eBay for a song. I thought it would be a fun ball to try with a low financial risk. I drilled it up pin next to ring finger with the mass bias kicked out to val and a small wt hole near my pap.

What a pleasant surprise. I prefer milder balls. I have more revs than speed and often have trouble on the short oil patterns I often see. The Slant was super clean through the heads with an arcing backend and a moderate amount of hook.

Awesome look on a second shift condition in box finish. I then hit it lightly with a 2000 abralon pad on my spinner. I then tried it on a fresh house shot. the dulled finish added a bit of hook with an earlier reaction. Still plenty of backend.

Excellent carry with either finish.

This is a versatile ball that handles adjustments well that I am really enjoying. Not for oil, but will handle any medium for most bowlers with the proper drill and surface. Don't be afraid to try it if u come across one.

Why does everyone laugh when I bowl?
