The few times I have seen Montreal it has been pretty slick and I found myself with more surface and my feet further outside than I had expected.  I have even had success playing outside of 1 arrow on this pattern which is a rarity.  The Fix with fairly straight angles should be a good place to start with the Slash then Intel being options to ball down as you beat up the track area.  Of course lane surface, oil and lane machine are huge factors along with your own particular match up of speed/revs/roll.
