Without knowing how he scored, he may have had only 32 strikes.
If he had the front 9 the first and third game, then went 9/ in the tenth with a X as the fill, that's 10 strikes each game for a 279....that would be 32 strikes total.
Also could have had a 9/ in the second, 9 in the fill in the 12th and a strike the other 10 frames for a 279....and that woudl total 32 strikes.
Also could have had a combo between the ways and got to 33 strikes...
Either way, who cares. 858 is a TON! Great bowling!
