Torrid Elite
Pre drilled stats 15/4, 3.20, 3"pin. Factory Finish 500 Saair with Rough Buff. Drilled 4 x 4 pin in ring, no x hole.

Post drilled stats, #14 /15 oz, 3/4 oz pos side. Low rg core ball 2.48 - .047 with an un-named pearl cover from the EZ-Use line.

House Shot:
Fresh house shot, 4yr old Pro Anvilanes, medium to medium heavy oil pattern 42 ft. this house generally has very clean back ends highlighting a balls recovery and back end motion characteristics.

Bowler Stats:
Ball speed approx 15.5, approx rev rate 325, PAP 4-5/8 > 1/4 up, 5-1/4 > 3/8 up
PAP stats will vary due to release choice.

The Elite is in the EZ-Use line, entry level or low mid range performance, I'm expecting a reaction somewhere between a low end and mid performance ball.
Planned on using the Elite as a 2nd or 3rd game ball, in warmup I quickly saw the ball was a 1st game ball on these fresh conditions. For a low rg ball it had very easy length, more than I was looking for, to the point I began to wonder if it was going to wrinkle, then it turned and made a very hard move. Didn't score very well (200) with 2 opens one being the tenth frame. Not knowing (trusting) the ball I kept it on a tight leash.

2nd game I decided to open it up somewhat, giving the ball the opportunity to "strut its stuff", began to swing it 2 boards more than the first game, I'm standing 32 targeting 12 at the arrows out to 8 at the down lane markers,the ball responded well. 228 with 3 opens, whiffed a 10, 4-6-7 split, chopped 3 off the 6 in successive frames. That's call bowler err, or idiot in control.

3rd Game:
2 & 2 move left,  the ball still responds and finds it's way back home, 1 open, shoot 248 with some serious back row 8 & 9 pins on solid smash mouth hits. (By the end of the 3rd game I had moved another( 2-2 left)

Recap:
IMO the ball meets the hype, polished pearl cover, no idea what the cover is I would say something close to Super-Flex, or maybe Activator, not an overly aggressive cover yet strong enough to handle a medium to medium heavy pattern if you have some hand. Heavy handed guys will get more out of the ball, the Elite does not over react to the dry, it will "bounce" but doesn't come off the dry like a golf ball off a brick wall. It has a strong motion off the spot, a hard arc, not a skid snap motion, easy to control, forgiving and packs a good knock out blow at the pin deck, has quite the eye appeal especially as it revs up. Excellent ball for the price range !!
