Storm description:
The Storm IQ Tour A.I. is the latest addition to Storm's esteemed IQ Tour series, integrating advanced A.I. Core Technology with the renowned R2S Hybrid Reactive coverstock. This combination aims to enhance energy transfer upon impact, resulting in a more consistent and powerful ball reaction.

My Review:
After 10+ games I can clearly see the difference from the R2S pearls. Stronger midlane reaction with continuation at the pins like my Ruby but with the A.I. carry. I believe its the Power Edge polish provides greater friction than Reacta Gloss. I played my usual track area with small moves left to strike with consistentcy.

As always you get the trusted shape and readability from the IQ lineup. The R2S Hybrid cover since the Fusion is a welcomed addition since the last releases were pearls. I feel you can add or replace the Ruby in your arsenal for league play. My tournament bag will include both just because I love the Ruby and has proven to be the go to low RG/low diff option when needed.

I wonder why this line has such a high retention rate for performance and reliablility on medium oil patterns. Just an overall great addition to any style of bowler in need of a true benchmark ball offering a stronger downlane motion.

Lastly:
The IQ Tour A.I. is the lastest edition in the famous IQ lineup. It will not disappoint, it successfully blends the proven performance of the IQ Tour series with innovative A.I. Core Technology, reliable reactions with enhanced energy transfer and pin carry. Its versatility makes it a valuable choice for various lane conditions.

RST Hyperdrive
Coverstock: MicroTrax Solid
Finish: 2000 Grit Abralon
Core: Roto Star Tour A.I. Asymmetric
(14pd)
RG: 2.54
Differential: 0.055
Int Diff: 0.017

Layout: 5 x 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
Layout Extras:  2 1/2" Finger Depth, "X" - 4 1/2 D and 1 Inch Left
Tester: PAP 6 1/2 R, 1 1/4 D

Review:
The RST Hyperdrive offers an optimized core design with an aggressive coverstock. This design is intended to maximize control with more hook potential then previous RST offerings. Right away this ball shows itself as a number one asym in a player's arsenal.

The impressive part of this ball is that for how early the ball digs into the lane it still allows you to open your angles a bit more than some other big asyms in this category. At times, "big asyms" tend to quit and the next ball down is not quite enough. For me, I brought my RST Hyperdrive to 4K on a spinner then took it back down to the recommended 2K finish. For me, it really brought this ball to life. Due to my slower ball speed OOB can make these type of balls hook a bit earlier than I prefer.

The RST Hyperdrive should fill the gap on longer and higher volume patterns and will allow you to stay in a bit longer then previous releases. If you are a straighter player or have a lot of ball speed you'll want to consider this ball as an option. For me, I'll use the RST Hyperdrive to refresh the top of my bag and use most often on higher volume sport conditions.

You should expect a continuous, strong reaction throughout the lane. As previous noted above, the RST Hyperdrive will work best on longer and higher volume patterns. If your desire is to stay in your big asym longer as the lanes transition this ball will not disappoint. If you want the biggest hooking and most powerful RG ball today in your bag this is the one. The OP asks a lot of questions about what to use instead of the norm so he may be predisposed not to do things the normal way.

Review:
The !Q series continues on with the new !Q Tour A.I. This updated version of the !Q series features a Power Edge finish to the R2S coverstock. If you have enjoyed the !Q series this is a must have. If you are looking for a great reaction on a variety of house patterns you will want this one in the bag.

At the moment, I'm leaving the factory OOB Power Edge finish untouched. In comparison to Reacta Gloss on the !Q Ruby the Power Edge finish provides a nice balance and more controlled reaction. The !Q Ruby for me could be a bit quick off the spot down lane. The !Q Tour A.I. provides great hitting power and did not make me feel the need to get super steep with my angles.

In my opinion, the iQ Tour A.I. and the !Q Ruby are different in overall reaction. The !Q Tour A.I. is about 1-2 feet earlier and less whippy off the spot. Both balls fit nicely in the arsenal. Your !Q upgrade will not disappoint.

The !Q Tour A.I. is a nice addition for any arsenal and you'll likely find a spot in the bag for most medium/dry THS patterns. The blend of length, overall strength and control provides a lot of options for this piece. 60313 - 900 Global / Re: 900 Global Zen25

900 Global iconic Zen line is back in 2025 with the all new Zen25. It features the brand new RB 83 Pearl cover and the trusted Meditate Core with AI technology added. I drilled mine 5 x 3 and WOW the Zen is back. The Zen25 reminds me of a combination of the original Zen and the Zen Gold Label. It is as strong as the Zen but clean as the Gold Label was. Compared to the Phaze AI, it is cleaner with more of an angular motion down lane as the Phaze is more rounded. If you are looking to open up the lane and watch the something create a ton of angle down lane, then look no farther than the Zen25.
The mix of the original Zen's strength and the Gold Label's clean motion makes it sound like a versatile option. The AI-enhanced Meditate Core and RB 83 Pearl cover seem like a solid combo for creating that angular down-lane motion.

I usually wear  a leg brace when I bowl in my bowling league on Wednesday nights but I seem to have lost it. Is there something I can use in place of a leg brace?
If you need a temporary solution, you might consider using a compression sleeve or an ACE bandage for some support. Kinesiology tape can also provide stability if applied correctly. Just be mindful of how your leg feels while bowling and avoid pushing too hard. Hope you find a good solution.

**Roto Grip RST Hyperdrive Bowling Ball Review**
Description:
The Roto Grip RST Hyperdrive is a high-performance bowling ball designed with cutting-edge technology and innovatively designed, this ball offers exceptional control, power, and versatility on the lane.
The RST Hyperdrive features the RST Aysmmetric Core wrapped in with the A.I. core, which is engineered to provide a unique blend of consistency and energy retention. This core provides a predictable and stable roll, ensuring that the ball delivers a smooth and controlled reaction throughout the lane. The asymmetry allows for greater accuracy and improved performance for players looking to maintain a steady shot trajectory.

The powerful MicroTrax Solid Reactive coverstock from the Gem line is one of the standout features of the RST Hyperdrive. Designed to offer a more pronounced footprint than the X1 and X3 ideal for medium to heavy oil conditions is highly responsive (OOB finish) giving the ball a strong finish, while still offering enough control to avoid overreaction.

My Take:
When tested the RST Hyperdrive clearly out performed my X3 on the fresh. Knowing in league I would require more versatility of use so off to the spinner for a Power Edge coating.  The polished version allowed me a more sustainable playing field while box had its limitations. I would say this is the twin to my Magic Gem but with A.I. tech. High consideration for my nationals arsenal. Highly versatial for sport coditions if you use multiple hand positions.
The average league bowler who loves big Asymms, this is your new ball. Slower speeds may require some lane shine or polish for maximum performance. I like mine as my step down from the Ion Max/Harsh Reality for a solid and complimentry to my pin down PhySix Blackout.

Final Thoughts:
When you're playing on a fresh pattern THS his ball adapts and delivers impressive results while quite forgiving, allowing bowlers to feel confident even when not executing the perfect shot.
Overall, the Roto Grip RST Hyperdrive is an exceptional choice for any bowler looking to enhance their performance with a ball that combines power, control, and adaptability.

Back when 190 was a great average.  Now 240 is a great average and lanes are oiled with a machine that costs as much as a Honda Accord.  The game has evolved.  Layouts matter.

Try a 12lb house ball for free and see what you think. Also works for trying heavier weights first as well.
