This ball first game was 266 had a chance at 300 till the 8th frame.  in a tournament!  Made the cut and started the next squad with a 258!

These are great scores for me.  This ball gets down the lane very

nicely for a brunswick and then turns right hard!  (I'm lefty).

This ball has lots of energy retention.  Big carry!

Pin is placed 1/2 inch left of ring finger in the twisted

position as they call it in their drill sheets. It looks like a label though on this ball this is their early roll big arch drilling.

Not really straight down the boards, lots of revs, put your blinker

on and then turn right!

Get it, you'll like it for all mediums!

I continue to think that this is one of the most outstanding balls I have seem for the  broadest range of medium conditions.

It almost can handle heavy oil.  In my hands this is a WOW bowling ball and I am not a WOW bowler.  Revs, clean through the fronts, and

incredible backend and hit.  Drilled with revolutions label twist, pin next to my ring finger.  If I scuffed up the coverstock,

I'm sure I could use this on heavy oil. As it almost worked real well on a heavy oil tournament shot.  I'm waiting for brunswick to

put an earlier roll coverstock on this core or I'm going to buy another one and scuff it up.

Get one or get beat by one!  I'll tell you that there are some pro tour staff members that would love to use this ball and can't because of contracts, but they'd like to have one!    

This ball sat on the shelf for quite some time until I drilled it out for a guy this past tuesday. He said he needed more drive and carry than his Piranha/C Jade. He didn't have a ton of money to spend and I wanted to see what this ball would do so I drilled the ECX.



Starting specs were not fantastic...pin out 1.5" and 2.6 top weight. I drilled it a hybrid of the 2 suggested drillings. Instead of the 12:00 or 1:30 ellipse drillings, I chose a midpoint and laid the ellipse out just shy of the 1:00 position. Weights were 1/2 side and 5/8 finger.



Out of the box the ball rolled very strong with a significant improvement over the Piranha in the hit and carry department. The bowler has a fairly high speed with good wrist turn. League conditions were 32 feet of oil with a funnel to 40 feet.



After he was finished I asked if I could try it and found out the ball compared very similarly to my old Firepower. The hook was not as violent nor as sizeable as my El Nino Gold but it was much more controlled at the breakpoint and in the midlane area.



Looks like a decent ball but time will tell.

Do not buy this ball if you're bowling me!!!

If I've shown any enthusiasm for this ball in my previous posts it is increasing.

2 1/2 inch pin out drilled twisted ellipse which looks like a label leverage or 10:30 drilling(I'm lefty).  On this ball this is a max flare drilling.
The same coverstock as the Command Zone Arc this coverstock is clean thru the heads and retains tremendous revolutions into the bucket.

On longer patterns and carrydown nothing moves smoother or harder to the hole.
Even when it looks like it is rolled out it continues to smash, hit, mix and carry.

When the backends are dry or fresh put this ball away.  At least with this setup.

I have been struggling lately due to some pitch and span changes that cause the ball to come off my hand a little soon, this is the only ball I've been doing well with.

Now with a slight pitch adjustment and no practice with this ball in a month I show up at a tournament a little late and bowl three balls of practice.  First game 187 two opens nice little game  next game on severe carrydown pair i hit the pocket 9 times and get no carry(caused by lefty problem of nomovefoot-itis) and leave 3 opens 157 , first two games feel like 220 210.  I say to myself I'm throwing good and now I need 300 to advance to the semis in this handi tourn.

I get up on a new pair with medium carrydown and start streaking every ball in to the pocket, 7 in a row, undeserved 7 pin in the 8th, and then all strikes till ball 12 a 9.  278!! Technically 11 crushers in a row the best game I ever threw, though I've scored higher.  Regardless of score sheet it felt like 299!

This ball may be the best kept secret in bowling!  I've had so many  
games over 260 I can't believe it.  When it matches right to the condition it turns tweener carry in to cranker like carry.

I can't wait to try the particle and pearl.

It's still very early, but this may just be one of the best balls I've ever thrown. I found this thing on the rack a week ago in tip top shape.  After asking the proshop owner about it, he said it's been there awhile and it was mine if I wanted it.  I've put about 15-20 games on it so far and here is my initial review.  The ball has been tested on your typical house shot, 32 feet, buffed to 41 and various broken down versions of the same shot.

Ball Review
With this layout I was expecting some hook/stop which could help me control the breakpoint on this pattern since the backends are very pronounced.  What I got was completely different, but even better than what I was looking for.  The N'Control Coverstock from Brunswick is great for getting through the heads and midlane much easier than the super aggressive Powerkoil 18, and makes the transition to dry much more readable.  This layout gives me exceptional length and a great read of the midlane.  This thing corners so smooth it's insane, yet it never quits driving through the deck.  I can use this ball from many different angles, and with 3 inches of flare in the oil I can get deep as the lanes get drier and wheel it coast to coast without losing energy or sacrificing carry.  This is one ball that just never quits.  Not alot of companies have a reaction like this.  

Comparasion of Balls With Similar Reaction
-I've thrown the Time Zone with a similar drilling, except everything was stacked in line next to the ring finger.  This ball tended to quit on me due to a much more aggressive cover and the drilling just wanted to stand up too early too soon and not give me much on the backend.
-This ball is very similar to a polished V2 Solid.  Very clean in the heads with a good midlane read, but a strong/controlled/continuous backend movement
-This ball makes a great 1-2 punch with my Red Executioner.  The Red Executioner pushes farther down the lane but stands up alot quicker in the backend, so when the oil pushes downlane and the Red Executioner starts to squirt, the Rebel allows me to soften up the speed, move left and get around the corner in the carrydown.

Other Notes
As I've said before, it's early to say much but I am really loving what I am seeing so far.  This is a great all around ball for me and I'm retiring the Time Zone and Command Zone Arc because of it.  This ball fits extremely well between my Raging Red Fuze and Monster Scream/R.
