14lb ball with 4" pin to CG.
I layed out the ball with an 80 X 4" X 30 layout. CG near my palm and pin above and right of ring, no weight hole. Left in box finish. Bowling on a fresh medium-light oil shot.
Stats
Rt handed, 16.5 mph at the pins, 350 rpm.
This ball is very clean up front! The ball moves through the heads and mids.. And then ball screams on the backend. Its definitely a skid/flip reaction for me.
On the fresh shot, Ibsae a little bit of over/under. I definitely needed to get it out to the dry in order to recover. Once I did, it was dead flush. A few shots that were a touch inside would still hit, but I could tell the ball wasnt quite going through the pins right. Itbwould have been usable, but I had better options. I put the ball away for a few games until the lanes began to dry up/transition.
I pulled it back out middle of game 3, and I had all kinds of area. Pitch it right and watch it come flying back. This ball has all kinds of recovery.
For an entry level ball, the Loco Pearl was surprisingly strong/playable. For me, this is a great combination. The cover is weak enough up front that I can play closer to the track, but still enough that there is plenty of recovery on the backend. Pull this one out once it's dried up a little and you're set to go. The ball is actually fun to throw.
Great performance at an entry level price.
If you are looking for something to throw in the torched, burnt up, "dirt," thus probably isn't the ball. As long as there is a little oil up front and dry to the outside, your set to go.
Needs some friction on the backend
