This Cell Pearl we drilled it 4x3 1/2 with 40 degrees. Kicked the pin up a little and put it 1 inch above my ring finger. This lay out gives a better look when I'm trying to play those deep inside shots, with out adding any over reaction. This ball gives me a look I did not have before. Thanks to RG and Bowlers Supply.

I got a cell pearl free from a RotoGrip sponsorship so I could play in my team at Monmouth University. I love that ball because and it is my first one. I bowl a strait hand and it works so well for me. I am so happy I have it and everyone tells me what a great ball it is- the guy who drilled it even said that it was like driving a Cadillac as my first car! I use the house oil usually but heavy oil on tournaments and I have a basic drill on the ball but I do not know the pin placement.

I layed out my Cell pearl for deep inside lines. This layout puts the pin over the middle finger(5 1/2") and the mass bias in the thumb (5 1/4"). I put an X-Hole on the Nap to keep side and top weight. In conventional terms this would be a 5 1/2 X 5 1/4 with a 2 7/8" pin buffer.
This layout and surface gets good length through the heads, has a quick transition,and hard arc on the backend. It does just what I wanted it to, when I have to move inside 4th, 5th, or 6th arrow. It saves enough energy to get the ten out from those deep angles.
Like all Cells,the ball is very responsive to drillings and surface prep and can be used by many styles. I feel the Cells, in general ,are one of the greatest core designs to come along in many years!

I had a bowling called the Toxic made by Hammer and I it was burnt out and I bowled a lot of good games with it. I just purchased the Cell Pearl from a buddy whos lay out is close to mine and I put my finger grips in it. I have shot 3 extremely good series with it since I bought it. Its like the ball has a laser on it to get to the pocket. The pin carry is just amazing how it hits and carrys. Defenitly a good ball for somebody who can throw it long and make it come back.

Both the wife and I have this one. It is long and strong, as one would expect for a pearlized ball. Very forgiving. Reads the pattern well. Good roll on the pin deck. Excellent carry.
Has a limited shelf life. Both balls died.

Got a great new Cell Pearl layout: 55 x 4 1/2 x 60. Wow those this ball go the length and makes a great turn at the pins and does not leave anything behind. I have two other Cell Pearls with shorter pin lay outs and this one had a extra kick in my Cell Pearl bag. Thanks to Mike Sinek for this layout idea.

Had this ball as one of my main One Handed bowling balls back in the day. Just recently re-pitched the fingers to throw it 2 handed but with the same layout.

All i can say it that, "I love this ball." was my strike and spare ball before. Could play pretty much any type of shot with it, just mattered what shot they had out that day. Down the rail or over the gutter. Could play pretty much anywhere.

This ball goes down the lane smoothly and has a strong snap in the backend of the lanes. The ball hits hard, and carry's very well even comparing to current bowling balls on the market now.

Very Versatile ball, Deadly in the hands of any type of bowler. Hits great. If you dont have one now, i suggest you go and grab one

One of the Great balls by "Roto-Grip" you guys never dissapoint.

Likes: The ball goes long and makes an absolute turn towards the pocket, calling it a snap would be an understatement. The continuation through the pins is absolutely amazing. I carry more bad light hits and heavy shots with this ball then anything else I have ever thrown. Best ball I have ever had.

Dislikes: If I get slow It can result in worse leaves than normal because it turns so hard at the end.  The continuation is so rediculous that I've probably left more solid nine pins with this ball than my other two balls combined. But the fact that it carries the corners, 4 pins, and 8 pins so much better than my other stuff, its well well worth it to leave an occasional stone 9. Don't get me wrong leaving stone nines with this is not frequent at all, its just I'd probably only left one or two in my whole life before this ball.

Likes: I like this ball very much!  I am averaging 180 or so with it.  I had a friend bowler comment the other night about how this ball hits the pins on the deck.  If I remember to throw it correctly it clears them all at once.
