The Roto Grip Wreck-em is the pearl version of the Wrecker/Wreck-It balls in the HP2 line of bowling balls. The Wreck-Em uses the Pumped pearl cover combined with the same core as in the Wrecker and Wreck-It, called Neutron. The Neutron core has an RG of 2.55 and a differential of .042 in 15lb balls. The color combination of red/purple/ and white is distinctly different from the Wrecker and Wreck-It.
I drilled the Wreck-Em 5 ¼ x 5 ½ x 2 ¼ , which puts the pin over my ring finger, and doesn’t have a need for a balance hole. Comparing the Wreck-Em to my Hectic, the Wreck-Em revs up quicker, has a sharper change of direction, and covers more boards overall than the Hectic. The overall shape that I see out of the Wreck-Em, is a stronger version of my UpRoar. The Wreck-Em so far is my favorite compared to the Wrecker and Wreck-It, all three using the Neutron core. One benefit the Wreck-Em has over the Hectic, is the ability to really get in and cover some boards. I think bowlers who like to really wheel hooking lane conditions will like the Wreck-Em, rather than selecting a weaker ball to stay in a zone, because of the recovery the Wreck-Em provides.
For me, the Wreck-Em works best when moving in on medium to medium-dry conditions. Heavier volumes of oil that would make me play much straighter on the lanes with the Wreck-Em, seems to give me a bit too much skid snap, and makes getting to the pocket a touch inconsistent. To be honest, I have had this same experience with all of the balls that have the Neutron core in them. For me, the best look is to cover some boards with the Neutron core balls. The Wreck-Em is a nice step down from the Dare Devil when the Dare Devil starts hooking too earlier, as it is cleaner and sharper.

The Wreck-em has the same Neutron Core that was used in the Wrecker and Wreck-it, but uses the new Pumped pearl coverstock.

I drilled my Wreck-em with a “Rico layout”, which puts the pin in the center of my grip and kicks out the cg ~ 45* with a weight hole on my VAL. Right away I could tell that the Pumped pearl cover was very clean. The Wreck-em goes significantly longer down lane than the Wreck-it and even longer than the Dare Devil. Since I drilled this ball with a Rico layout it is a little smoother on the backend than most layouts would be, but mine still corners. I would compare the shape to the Storm Street Fight or a more angular Hectic. 

I have used the Wreck-em on a number of league patterns as well as many flatter sport patterns. The best look I have had with this ball has been on a house pattern when the oil in the front part of the lane had been chewed up a bit.

Before buying this ball, I was doing very well in tournaments while they were fresher. As soon as the lanes began to breakdown, I suffered a loss of ball reaction, forgiveness, and ability to carry. I came to the conclusion that I could use something shiny that saves the reaction more for the downlane portion. Dual angles are around 60x4 3/4x40 which is essentially the pin over my ring with the cg swung out enough for a hole on my midline. Out of box shiny tops my most hated surface by far. This ine actually rolled very well for me as I saw the concept I was looking for. However, I found 2000 and light polish over it matched up much better. When the lanes force me to go left and around the pattern, I can do it with ease. On house patterns, I got more of a typical stand left and throw right feel. To me, the Neutron core allows for a flip and roll motion that seems to mesh perfectly with the pins. The cover responds very quick to the friction, but not very over under at the 2000 polished. I found this ball to be stronger than a Hy-Road Pearl (15 lbs) in the midlane and backend. If you're looking for something to make life easier when the lanes are wide open or transitioning to where you need some shape downlane on medium oil, the Wreck Em whacks em! Own it!

My Name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip Regional Staffer. I am left Handed and my ball speed is between 15-17mph. My first Roto Grip Wreck-em I drilled it like my Wreck-it and the pin is just left of my ring finger and the cg is stacked and this drilling has been really good for me for this line.  The new Roto Grip Wreck Em is the newest HP2 ball featuring the Neutron core that powered the Wrecker and Wreck-It with a Pearl Reactive cover. This gives the ball the same even motion that made those previous releases so good, but allows the ball to get further downlane and increases the back-end motion. I've found this ball to be a godsend when I don't want to go away from my wreck-it but am forced to because the front-end burns up. The Pearl cover lets me keep the same readable motion in a ball that will get through the burn and still turn over at the end of the pattern.  When I am bowling on anything short like Kegel Las Angeles, or Kegel Boardwalk, or even on THS this is the ball I go to.  This ball is good on Medium to Dry Lanes.  When the Wreck-em is not enough ball then I will go to my Roto Grip Hy-wire.  I have shot a 300,812 this year with the Wreck-em on the Kegel Boardwalk oil pattern.  The Wreck-em is a really strong ball and you are getting more ball for the price and that has been the same for the whole wrecker line and that is why this line has been so popular.  If you are needing a ball that is strong and hits like a tank and need it for Medium to Light and even THS patterns, then the Wreck-em is the ball you need in your bag.  So get to your Local Pro Shop and pick up a Wreck-em today.  #wreck-em #ownit #rotogrip
