It's not often that I like a ball immediately, but the Oracle Vision is a keeper. First game out of the box, bowling on a crappy Sunday morning condition with flat oil and carry down from two days of open play - 258. Next five and nothing under 220 while playing around seeing how this one worked from different angles.

Ball is set up with the factory finish, pin at 4 3/4" just above the ring finger, MB an inch or so off the thumb hole in the strong position. The Vision revs fast, reads the midlane, and sets a nice predictable arc to the pocket. Carry was good from different directions to the hole, the ball doesn't push when you don't expect it and it doesn't jump left either. Just a nice predictable reaction.

The hit on this ball is absolutely superb. I broke up all sorts of light hits, had pins flying around the deck and carried more trip 4's on high hits in a morning than I usually carry in a year. Wife was watching and commented that it hit great and a couple folks bowling nearby wanted to know what ball it was. You know when the wife notices good hit and when folks nearby covet your equipment that you have a good one!

I have two of these.  The first one I drilled with the pin 5" and the CG 4" from PAP and shined the ball.  It works really well with carry down on the back ends because it finishes very strong and goes through the front of the lane very easy.  It also works good to get way inside and open up the lane.  The second one I drilled with the pin and CG 2" from PAP (this is the first time I've tried this drill) and left it in box condition.  This ball works really well on fresh oil or when the back ends are very strong because it has a nice gradual hook to it but doesn't roll out.  If the back ends begin to go away because of carry down all I need to do is switch to the other ball.  These two balls with these two different drill patterns compliment each other very well.  I feel these two balls together will cover 85 - 90% of house conditions and several tournament conditions.  This is a ball that I think anybody's game could use.

This ball will fit between the Oracle and the RS-1 very well.  
I drilled my ball 4 1/2 by 3 1/2, mass to pap is 4", the pin is just below the ring finger.
The ball has a 3 inch Pin, top weight was 2.24 in a 16.0 pound ball.
My ball speed is 16.59 and a rev rate of 238.
I used this ball on a sport shot, league play and several other conditions.  by changing hand positions I was able to keep this ball in play on all but the dry lane conditions.  The ball is easy through the front of the lane, does not over react, has control strong turn to the pins and hits very hard.
The only problem I faced was that the ball would just not quit and would take out the 8 pin leaving the 9 pin on occasion.
This is the first ball I have pushed since the X * 3 was introduced.

My game has improved sooooo much with this bowling ball...if I dont get a score of 200 or more in one game, then im having a bad night....Its the best ball I have ever owned!!!!

I found the Vision opened up the over-under condition that is always difficult for me by its ability to get thru the heads and when it got to friction not over react but make a clean continued recovery and retain energy at slower speed and rev rate.

I mapped mine with pin appx. 11/2" left of grip line placing the mass appx. 2"fro thumb.  I did need to polish mine to mid hi luster, though a higher speed and rev player did not.

For league and local tourn. conditions this particle ball is very playable and one of the few particles that a slower speed player can use.

This ball is a great fit between my all time favorite Silver Streak Pearl and the strong mid-lane RS-1

Drilled this ball last week. 4x4, mb strong,wieght hole on pap. I can see this ball as being very versatile. I can play deep inside and swing to the dry and watch the ball come screaming back or tighten it up and swing about 5 boards in the middle of the slop. The ball holds nicely when I pull it left and recovers very strong from the dry. I threw a couple of shots a few feet past the break point, and it still made it back to the swish zone. The ball breaks very much like it's reactive; only a few feet earlier. I would recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a strong, pearl particle for medium to medium heavy oil.

Got mine last night and was not wowed at first the ball just didn't hook a lot like I thought it would. I set mine up with a 4 3/8 x 3 with a weight hole on the VAL. This made the ball "set up" earlier but still have continuous backend. I was bowling on your standard THS and I didn't start out getting my full hand in the ball. However, the more hand I put in the ball, the better it reacted. I gained all sorts of area and could get the ball back from almost anywhere. I shot five games of practice:214,216,256,174,171. The last two games I had a pocket 7-10 and a 3-6-7 and I also missed a 7 pin. The ball hits very solidly and the hook potential is beyond belief. Roto wanted a benchmark ball and the have very well found it in the Oracle Vision. I will post more when I bowl on a tougher shot. Overall, great ball, gobbs of hook, what else can a bowler want?
