Silver Streak SE
« on: December 31, 1969, 06:00:00 PM »
The original Rotaryâ„¢ core can be found once more with an all new coverstock, Sure Grip Revelationâ„¢ Reactive.  This unique coverstock is a pearl/solid reactive combination that utilizes the benefits of a Solid & Pearl Reactive.  This is a great benchmark ball that is ideal for numerous conditions.

If the RS Series packed too much punch for you at the breakpoint, pick up a Silver Streak SEâ„¢ for a smoother transition to the pocket and all the hitting power you will ever need.

Great Ball!!!!!!!!!!!

This ball is probably my favorite ball on most house shots! My SE is drilled 4.5 X 3 with the pin under the ring finger and a extra hole 1.5 inches under my axis point. This ball in very clean through the heads and makes a nice move at the break point. The ball seems to rev up really good without overracting and once it get to the pins it explodes the racks! Everyone should have one of these!

Awesome job guys!
Keep up the good work!

Pin to CG Distance - 3-3.5"
Top Weight - Unknown
Drill - Label

This ball is very similar to a Fired Up that I have drilled similar except it reads the midlane a little earlier and has a little smoother backend  Because of the drill and my bowling style, this is a ball that's great on medium to dry lanes.  On a fresh medium house shot, this ball is $$$$ for me and it deals with carrydown a little better than the Fired Up because the coverstock is a solid / pearl hybrid.  On heavier / longer patterns this ball tends to scoot on me unless I back my speed way down and use more forward roll.  This ball has a very strong, but controllable backend reaction to it and when it hits the pocket, it strikes alot (except for the occiasional solid 9 and ringing 10.)  This ball also had trouble storing energy for me if the heads are burnt up too much, which is not surprising given the coverstock is a solid/pearl hybrid.  All in all, another great ball from Roto Grip and a definite winner on a fresh medium to lighter THS for me.

When I first started to throw Roto Grip equipment the Silver Streak SE was the first ball that I got.  I had only had it for a few months when I won my first ABT Masters Title, which was in June of 2006.  On the same day my mom won her first ABT Classic Title throwing the Roto Grip Horizon.  I've had the Silver Streak for a few years now and it's still just as good today as it was when I first got it.  The best thing about it is the ability for it to get through the heads with ease and recover very nicely in the backends.  This ball seems to work better for me mainly on house shots more so then sport and PBA patterns.  I've been able to use it on a few tournament patterns but for the most part I would stick to using it on easier house shot lane conditions.  I would recommend this ball for any bowler's arsenol.
