Ok after the first impression, here goes my review of the dry wonders.
Specs: 16Lbs 2-3" pin out, drilled 4x4 stacked, topweight forgotten.
I have used this ball on various shots and lane types. For me in league ranging from fresh horizontal wet/dry with screaming backends to reverse block patterns to spotty nightmares. This ball reacts the same for me on wood as well as synthetic lanes.
On the horizontal wet/dry with screaming backs this ball is good for the first two games before it over unders the third game. Too strong to point the ball at the pocket, too weak to belly the ball out.
On the spotty conditions, like second shift short oil with some carrydown on wood lanes type, this ball is very nice, but requires accuracy to get the ball to the pocket. Must be careful with target placement or you will have over under all night here too.
I found this ball to work well on dry shots and reverse blocked patterns. I can belly the ball all night long in the dry and not have to worry about over reactions. This ball moves very even, smooth, controllable, and hits hard like a heavy oiler will.
Overall for this is a good dry lane ball like it's supposed to be. I need to find dry to use it properly, but if the oil is spotty or still on the lanes somewhere, I need to go to another ball or I'll the struggle the remainder of the evening.
