Nomad vs Pin Slasher
« on: January 17, 2010, 11:05:30 PM »
OK guys be easy on a newbie here. Just getting back into the game after  New Years eve and 8 years. The wife has a pin slasher she really loves but with them doing away with it was wondering how the nomad solid matches up. She really likes the smoothness of the ball drilled pin down and the cg kicked out about 2" with a lower weight hole. If this ball doesn't match up which in the ROTO line up might. I know we can buy another P/S but might try something newer, thanks

I have both, similar drills to your wife's: for me, rev dominant, slower speed bowler - both balls polished, the Nomad is stronger in the backend and will cover more total boards - both are smooth and could be called benchmark balls.

the Nomad will probably go a little longer and cover some more boards in the backend compared to the Pin Slasher. Changing the surface on the could make it more similar to the Pin Slasher as well by removing the polish off of the Nomad
