A nice Rush experience
« on: October 11, 2004, 01:12:23 AM »
On my wetter than medium wet mixed league house.....42 ft, guardian/wood house....Took the Rush and hit it with a wet burgandy s/b, followed by a grey wet s/b ....nice and dull...I'd say about 5-600 or so.......and let me tell you.....the Rush NEEDS TO BE dull!!!  It was getting a "sheen" on it and I was realizing it didnt have the "umph" it had....but dull....it (like so many others have said) ....just looks like it's accelerating downhill!!!!!)

Had my first 6 (617) on Saturday....first 6 there in a loooong time......very very pleased!!

Just wanted to share!!

Mr Revs,

I have been a very big fan of the Rush since the first day I threw it. I had hoped that Roto would put this core into a couple of different balls....maybe a pearl....or a particle. Hank knows what he is doing in ball design though, because he has released some other fantastic equipment.

Upon release the Rush was an underdog, but guys....if you want a ball that does alot of work for you on alot of different conditions the Rush is a good ball to try.

EX,
I think my cover prep over the weekend made me realize that THAT may be what a dull light load particle will react like.....it was real fresh and pretty darn dull and was just a bulldozer!!

I will attempt it on my THursday night league that dull....I tried it first week when it was sheened over after it's box 1000 smooth.....but this may be real nice!!

I will report back!

My Rush saved my butt tonight when I was bowling out for Pick-A-Prize with my boy -- pulled out a 201 after struggling with my Sonic X (a big 105 ) -- didn't realize they'd oiled the lanes in prep for the regular Monday league....
