Cell advice needed
« on: October 06, 2011, 01:47:14 AM »
I bought a NIB Cell and just recently drilled it up in April of this year with a strong drilling for strictly a heavy oil piece. I bowled 2 tournaments with it for a total of 9 games. My equipment is kept inside and as I was moving things around the other day, I noticed an inch and a half long crack that extends from the top of my ring finger hole over to the pin and half way around the pin. The pin is over an inch from any hole in the ball. Since I bought the ball from an individual and not a pro shop, even though the ball was NIB and I have all recepts and documentation, does anyone know  how I can get this replaced with something similar if the pro shop that ordered the ball from roto grip originally cant be located?   This definately sucks Roto Grip. Thanks for any help.

It never hurts to call or email them, but I wouldn't hold high hopes.  The proper thing to do is go back to the place you got the ball.  It's normally the pro shop or distributor's job to replace balls.  Furthermore, even though you may have only recently started using the ball, the Cell has been out of their line up for some time.  They probably haven't even poured a Cell in the past 2 years.  Roto has been pretty accommodating to people over the years, so I'd contact them as see what they are willing to do.
