I know I'm probably a little late to the party with this, but better late than never.
I've thrown the Cell for a little while now and I realized that the ring finger was too small which was causing release problems. I got this fixed yesterday and it practiced with it a couple of games last night and it was much easier to repeat shots. The ball is still at the box surface ( 2000 abralon, no polish) and the layout is 4x4 with the MB in the A position right next to the thumb. The pin is slightly above the fingers.
This ball has one of the most unique ball reactions I've ever seen and probably has the most continuation of any ball I've ever thrown. The house that I've used it in plays in the track area on the fresh and can get pretty jumpy, especially if you use polished equipment. I believe I know what they mean now when they say it maintains it's differential throughout the lane. What this appears to do is allow it to be used for a longer period of time. It reads the midlane pretty strong and has a very predictable and controllable motion to it, which makes adjustments much easier to figure out. Usually when I put a stacked drill on a bowling ball, it gets really jumpy when you try to go around it a little more and it either jumps on you or rolls out and does nothing. I've played anywhere from just outside second arrow to inside 4th arrow with no loss in hitting power. This ball appears to be the real deal and I'll post a full review when I've had a chance to throw it in a few other centers.
