All-Out Show Off
« on: September 22, 2017, 12:55:38 PM »

Looks like this might be coming the same time as the Dare Devil Danger. It went on the approved list on September 19th. I'm thinking it's a pearl, which would make for a pretty interesting combo with that core. The coverstock will probably be strong too given what the Show Off has.

I'm not sure. The name screams overseas to me more than the Dare Devil Danger and it seems a little early for another Show Off

Has there been a case yet where two+ balls going on the approved list the same day are for different regions? Because I agree with what was said, just seems weird that the Danger might be US and All-Out overseas.

Yeah, this has to be overseas.  No way that name gets released here.

Hoping this is a us release as a pearl show off would fit a big need for me

I think a pearl version would be good, the cover on the Show Off is just too strong for the core.  That name has me thinking no though.  Dare Devil Danger definitely a stateside ball though.

With the super high volumes we see in the heads in Vegas and ripping backends, the Show Off looks like one of the best balls I've seen that match up well locally.

On that yeah, I could imagine.  It needs a crapload in the heads to get down the lane.

i would be surprised if the show off stays in production. Not exactly a good ball for house shots. I own one and I'm not impressed. I've rolled it in 6 different houses with 3 different lane surface oiled from 38-40 feet different oils and volumes and I'm not impressed. Changed surfaces on ball too including shine

Just polished mine at 2000.  No way could I use it at OOB on a house shot. Much much better reaction. Started with Alpha and balled down to polished show off game 3.  Ended up with 253 last game for a 694 total. Mine is drilled pin down.

mine is pin up 5-1/4 from my axis which puts it on the center line and cg kicked out 3/4. Maybe I have it too shiny. Will tone it down a little with a 3000 pad and see what happens

Looks like we were wrong. DDD and All Out Show Off both hybrid covers. I think the release date is Nov 24
