Up Coming Roto Release
« on: May 09, 2009, 11:16:52 AM »
Well, I know its coming soon. I have heard from several sources that the Cell replacement will be coming for next season. I'm mostly really looking forward to seeing if they use any names from that name contest a few months ago.

What if I said we were bringing out twin Rotary Cores?

Sounds like a Mazda RX-7.

Who else is willing to fly to SLC and we'll just beat the info out of Roger?

Driving to Vegas in June, might as well make a small detour and coax a little more info out of him.

Wouldn't that translate to a Roto Grip RSX-7 and RSX-8 with twin Rotary Turbo Cores.

O.K., I have my flame retardant suit on, but  I HATE THE ROTARY CORE! http://www.ballreviews.com/Reviews/Reviews.asp?ManufacterID=15&BallID=286&ReviewID=18015

I always LOVED what the RUSH did. One of the most predictable, best carrying balls I ever used with the Rotostar on it. Between it and the Global Assault I had, I could hit almost anything except dead dry.

Oh yea, DANG this ROGUE is STOUT!

...how about some funky bright colors, like a bright yellow or green...or dare i say it....White

Storm has done both bright yellow solid and bright white solid. The former is the first Sun Storm (lightbulb core, quite good in it's day) and the very rare SnoStorm of which I've seen exactly two and one is at the factory.

Problem with both colors is that they look great when freshly cleaned and polished but they get dirty, really, really, dirty, and really, really, fast. Really, I mean they be ugly.  U - G - L - Y.

For bright green we have to go back to the Track Nuke. It looked good. If you liked looking at puke :-)

The green of the Forest Fire Storm was good though. That would be worth repeating and would stand out on the ball rack a bit more than most stuff. I'd also like to see a red like the Red Sun Storm or a simple light blue like the original urethane hammer. Even plain old black is great. But I have simple tastes...

How bout the red sunstorm colors...which by the way was a great favorite of mine.

What about the green in the Bolt and Bolt Pro?
