Best drill for the original cell

I have a cell and am not too impressed with it.  Mine is drilled 5 1/2 inches pin to pap. Pin under bridge with a 45 deg drilling to the RG spot.  I really didn't like it when I first got it.. I put a x-hole on the RG spot and that helped with the reaction some.
Also do most of you change the surface on it??
I also don't tend to bowl on heavy oil.. really medium to medium dry..
What condition does the cel shine on??

The Cell is made for medium-heavy oil... It will not work well on medium-dry lanes unless you change the surface, it is too strong of a ball... The layout you have will probably work great for you on medium-heavy oil

Well the ball does tend to hook on some oil. My guess is the ball is burning up in the dry. If u are really wanting it to work try shining it up with some polish, or even take it to 4000 abralon (not sure what surface its at). If that does not work I would plug and redrill it. Go pin up so it conserves some energy for the backend.
