specific ball categories
« on: October 06, 2006, 05:53:31 PM »

I wanna and probably switching to RG
and i wanna grab a battle certainly but will a saga overlap the regular epic does the category remain true

because epic is for med-heavy and i was gonna put drilling C-b on it and the battle with D-b but wasn't sure if i got the saga and put B-b on it if it'd overlap the epic.

I to am switching over to Roto Grip I have been using their equipment for 4 weeks now I only have 2 balls so far the RSX and the Saturn, the Saturn is a super ball at a super price I can't seem to put it down. I don't have the Epic or the Battle but from what I have heard both are great and the Battle is probably the best heavy oil ball out there. I don't think that the covers on the Epic and the Saga are the same they may overlap a little but I think both would be good to have and maybe have 1 drilled a little different maybe for more carry down. Good luck and great bowling hope this helps

I have all three, Battle, Epic and Saga. All pretty much drilled the same. I rarely use the original Epic just because I get alot of over/under from this ball for some reason... I nuch prefer the core of the Battle and the Saga... Get the Saga, I promise you will not be disappointed. I shot 300 in practice with mine the week after I got it. It is a very versatile ball from lighter to medium. I can play up the boards on med-heavy and swing the ball on the lighter stuff and it still carries. The Battle definately for the heavier oil. Good luck!!!
