saturn and venus question's
« on: October 18, 2006, 03:57:51 AM »
Im in need of a new 1-2 punch for light-med and strapped for cash so i was looking into the venus and saturn.  I was wondering if the venus and saturn could be played off of each other in the sence of needing to go from 1 with a solid cover the saturn to the venus with the particle pearl.  For the past year i have been throwing a lane#1 h2o and a visionary violet gargoyle for med light to medium but both have been resurfaced and baked to the point of needing to be retired.  Would the saturn and venus be able to be drilled to play off eachother like i did with the h20 and violet gargoyle in medium light-medium oil.  Stats to my knowledge are tweener 16-18 mph rev rate is about 300, generally try to play around the track if its their.

The Saturn is a very smooth ball and very good on the drier side of things....and the Venus will give you length and then a bit of back end. I think maybe a Saturn and a Mercury may be the trick. I really love the control I get with the Saturn on a burned pattern...

Same here you can't beat the Saturn I've used mine for the past several weeks and it is just a pleasure to throw, its my favorite ball and I've had some high dollar balls get 1 you will enjoy it and the price I paid $115.00 for mine including drilling and inserts and slug you can't beat that

All of these so named entry level balls Roto Grip is offering pack allot of punch for the buck and are well worth the investment. Which ever of the 3 you choose you can't go wrong. I have the Saturn and the Mercury and they cover all the medium-light to burnt stuff, if it's carry down you need one for then I'd go with the Saturn and Venus. Make sure to put the CG in a strong position with all these gems when you drill them they respond very nicely to that.
