Roto-Grip RS-X - A Good Benchmark Ball?
« on: January 19, 2006, 06:25:52 AM »
Hey guys,

I have been looking at this ball for quite some time now.
Tell me Roto-Grip fans, how do you like this ball and
how do you have yours set up?

What types of lane conditions do you use it on.
I do notice it has a fairly strong Differential rating.
What kinds of surface changes worked for you and did you
like the ball in OOB condition.

Thanks for your feedback in advance!
Take it easy everyone,
Ram

Ram, what up?

I have the RS-X and find it to be quite strong! I've pin below ring, cg out, mb right of thumb (bout 5:30 or so).  Wasn't impressed with OOB cover, so I took it down to 800 (abralon) and polished with Storm Reacta Shine.  Ball is considered a beast!  I like the midlane roll with strong backend.  Works great on medium -> med. heavy oil conditions.  Your game differs from mine as I have loft.  So the info I'm providing is based upon my specs (check profile for PAP).

Many others like the RS-P, but I find this ball to be the RotoGrip 'silent killer'  Try it, you'll definitely like it!

rag, possibly...

but a label drill on an RSX at 1000 smooth would be nice too,...like a 2.5x5 drill .......or 3x5
