Title: Arsenal Replacement....
Post by: Easy10pins on November 26, 2008, 12:50:15 AM
Being that the base bowling center offers FREE BOWLING from 11am until 1pm on Mon, Wed and Fri.  My equipment has been getting a workout.

Unforunately, last week, I bowling on a lane with a machine that had been recently fixed.  Well, it wasn't fixed and 2 balls were damaged.  My Mystic (benchmark) and my Neptune.

Not sure if the balls are discontinued yet but what's new in RGs line up that can replace them?

You should be able to still get both of those balls.  Here is a link to bowling.com and they have both of them for sale:

If you like to stay local, check with your pro shop, I am sure they can get both of those balls for you.  Good luck.

If you can't find a Horizon Solid I'd suggest buying a Grand Illusion and finishing it to 2000 with Abralon.  Won't give you exactly the same reaction but it will be close - I'd be surprised if you were unhappy with that ball/cover combo as a Horizon Solid replacement.

Well, I was extremely happy with the Horizon Solid.  It hit like a truck so if the GI can give me the same, I'm all for it.

I just have a thing for black bowling balls.
