disturbed polished?

Anyone take a disturbed to 1500 grit polish or 3500 polish? I'm thinking about getting one and drill it with minimum flare potential and polished at 3500 grit polish. I want to be able to play straight up the lane on clean backends. A pearl or hybrid would store too much energy at this price point. Or, would the tropical breeze really give me what I'm looking for? I need make a decision before Saturday.

WOW!! That is a very interesting idea! If it works, it might actually give you better carry than the Breeze. Please let us know how this turns out. (especially with that core in the Disturbed)

I want to do the same but haven't pulled the trigger yet. If you decide to do it please let us know. The tour guys had polish on theirs on tv. Looked real nice.

I have mine at 2000 with polish. I have a shatter drilled similar and on a ths the disturbed is about 4 and 2 weaker than the shatter and isn't really jumpy at all off the dry. I would recommend giving it a try.

I also have mine at 2000 with polish. OOB the ball would start way to early, even with a 17-18 mph ball speed. I had it Polished last week and it's incredible, very predictable. The best part about this ball is that it crushes the pins!
