Ball Roll

I throw a eternal cell and a storm byte.  Why do those two balls roll and rev up so well?  Is it a core cover combo or cause they are assym. Balls?  What other balls in the storm roto grip lineup would roll that well?

They 'rev up' due to their fairly low Radius of Gyration (2.52 for both).  You actually release them with a higher RPM than a ball with a higher RG rating.  If your average RPM's are about 300, you would release it with about 10 more RPM's than a ball with a 2.62 RG rating.  I nerdily stumbled upon an equation on the internet that I used to compute this.

so your saying something like a daredevil with a 2.r8 rg will rev up also even though it's symmetrical?

The symmetry of a balls core has no effect on it's rate of revolution.
