The Grenade
« on: December 09, 2011, 03:58:25 AM »
Well I ordered thr 'Grenade' yesterday since my bowling centers lanes are generally very dry by the 3rd game.

So it comes at 2K abr and is rated for med-oil, so I"m gonna have my driller bring it up to 4K abr and put a little polish on it then see how it works for me on our dry lane condition....

My opinion on the Grenade is that it is relatively unpredictable when polished. I've done it and it seems to lose almost all reaction. I would try it at 4k no polish and see how you like it. If you're center is so dry that you need it polished, the "blended urethane" in the new Blue Hammer takes a polish well, and does not lose all backend reaction.
