Big Kudos for the Cell and Roto Grip
« on: April 02, 2008, 03:24:56 AM »
I bowl in the Roanoke, VA area. This is an area dominated by Hammer, Ebonite and Brunswick and some Storm. I am starting to see more and more people trying the Cell that would have never even considered Roto Grip before. Prior to this ball there were maybe 3 or 4 people that had a Roto piece or 2. I am predicting great things to come for RG and great sells for Roto due to this ball. I am probaly 1 of maybe 2 people in the area that throw RG exclusively... Keep up the great work Roger and Hank!!!!

I am a huge Hammer fan, more so the Faball, but have still thrown a ton for every line except the new stuff....and I finally got a Cell to try.  Talked with OldSchoolLefty, if he's still here, as he drill for jkiser and I.  He had some good things to say about it and it really made me curious to see what the ball had.

So far....I really like the ball.  Strong ball....handles oil and less....just depends on what you do with your hand.  Looking forward to good scores with it!!

I live in Melbourne, Australia and purchased a Cell last week, drilling it 5x3 with the 3" pin buffer.  was really really impressed with the roll and reaction, as were the people i was bowling against in league, as it was just exploding the pins when it hit. i have some great Hammer equipment (No Mercy, Doom, Pain), and had never considered Roto Grip until i saw how well Mike Scroggins and others were bowling with it in the PBA , and decided to give it a go.

am very pleased with my decision (instead of getting a Black Widow Bite), and the guy in the pro shop said he had sold 3 more in the last few days, so i'm sure the word will spread around Melbourne very quick and we will be seeing a lot more of them on the lanes in the next few months.

i think Roto Grip has done a fantastic job with this ball, and laid down a challenge to the other companies to advance their high-end balls even further.

I have been using Brunswick only for a few years and have thought about getting the cell.

I bowled almost 17 years and seldom bought the same ball again, but for the CELL, after I played 5-10 games I just asked the proshop to order another for me, it's a prefect ball!
