Blue Retro
« on: January 27, 2004, 11:16:34 PM »
I loved my Blue Retro but have burnt it out. Does anyone know if RG has something comparable. I was thinking the Apocalypse might be a good substitution. Any info would be great, thank you.

I have the SS pearl, not really close reaction wise to the Retro and I drilled them the same way. I bowl on really bad wood lanes and they eat balls on a bi monthly basis. I don't think that refinishing would help, by buddy refinished his and it's lost it's reaction.

I'll try to get in touch with Roger or Hank.

Thank you for your suggestions....

I bowled with a very similar throwing lefty in my league, we both had Reaction Revs and then once that ended we would switch to our pearls.

His the RotoRetro Blue, me the Blade Pearl from Hammer.  We would stand the same place and keep striking now slightly to the left.

Very similar reaction.  The Retro with a touch higher flare had a ever so sligthly sharper breakpoint and I thought I owned the pocket a little better, when we switched.

Too great blue pearl balls.

PS Sorry it is not Roto just thought I'd let you know.

Yes is it reason, blue retro is better reaction on my bag.Silver streak pearl is never same reaction that retro because that core is reversed and not exactly same.I receive my apocalypse today and not drill again.
