Roto Grip Customer Relations A+++++

I hope Roger doesn't mind me doing this, but I would just like to share a great e-mail convo. that I have had with a Tech Rep. in regards to my Mystic cracking:


First Name: James
Last Name: Cobb

Comment: Hi I am writing to see if anything can be done for my cracked
mystic.  This is the third Mystic that I have had to crack on me, you guys
were actually gracious enough to replace the second one.  However, I am
perplexed as to why this keeps happening to my Mystic's and none of my
other R/G balls. Was there a production issue or am I just an unlucky
soul?  At any rate, if possible, I would like to send this one back as
well to see if it is deemed replaceable, and if so I would like something
other than a Mystic since I have been having such bad luck with them.  Of
course I am not looking for a Cell or anything like that, but a comparable
ball if possible.

And R/G's response:

James,

Since you know the process (unfortunately) we can make this fairly quick. If you can give me your contact and mailing information, I will start an RA. Then, I'll give you the RA and mailing instructions. Once we receive the ball back, I'll inspect the ball, and barring any warranty problems, I'll ship you a replacement.

Also, since you've been loyal to Roto Grip and have stuck with us through these cracking issues, I will extend the warranty as a way of saying thank you and let you pick from any ball in our current line-up.

Ball Name, Weight, Serial Number
(Desired replacement ball and weight)

There might be less cracking issues with the Mystic if the ball wouldn't HIT so freakin' hard.

Storm/Roto customer service is great.  I had a Storm 3 ball roller that was defective -- the hard plastic bottom around the sides cracked badly after just a few weeks of use.  The next day after I called them, they shipped me a replacement at no charge and didn't even ask me to send the original back to them since I had shown it in person to Doene Moos when he was in town for an Open House.  Good stuff!
