CALLING ALL LOW REV AND/OR SPEED DOMINATE BOWLERS
« on: December 15, 2006, 06:59:39 AM »
The NEW SD-73 Classic is the ball for you!  I have read some posts here about our new release and wanted to share some information with everyone.

IMAGINE

Imagine if you could finally purchase a high performance bowling ball that would flare as much as 6 or 7".  Higher rev players are able to buy any ball and get the maximum posted flare potential out of that ball.  But for those of us who have a low rev rate or roll the ball too fast do not get the hook we want or expect out of high performance balls.

WE HAVE WHAT YOU NEED

The SD-73 Classic is what you have been searching for.  If you are only able to get 3-4 inches of flare out of your angular one, total inferno, action attack, no mercy or any other high performance ball you have..try the SD-73 Classic.  This ball WILL give you 2-4" of more flare than your other equipment.

GIVE YOURSELF AN EDGE

FINALLY a ball that will allow you to compete!

Need I say more?

Great pitch.  I know I may never be able to throw another one "through the window" with the SD-73.  Can't wait til January for mine.  I still have a few others in queue to punch up before that.

too much flare for me. Great pitch Roger.  I will mention it to a friend. He always buys the biggest hook monster and they never hook enough.

So is the converse tru?

Bowlers who are rev dominate should be using things like....

Sonic X solid and sonic boom or some of the newer similar stuff...mercury or saturn?

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I'm using your "little" stuff and really likin em lately.

I honestly think a few more rev dominate bowlers could use the SD-73 IF you do as achappy posted in an earlier SD-73 thread that he was going to punch one up for carry down with a long pin to PAP layout.......I think he said 6 to 6 1/2" for his  game.  I'd think about something like that for myself.

I'd think about stronger balls like the SD-73 or the Horizon Solid with weaker layouts rather than an Ultra Sonic with a strong layout.   The solid covers will do better in any carry down and from deeper inside angles than the pearl covers of a Mercury or a US.  Just my thoughts

I watched bass throw his in the last game of a tourney very nice roll and pop in the pocket.  bass has decent ball speed but he did pay for a lil slow one.

Roger dont forget to add the players with higer degrees of tilt, these are the players with tilt of 20* or more that will love this ball, some of us who have a more tilt have problems getting that ball around the corner on those longer and slicker patterns. that extra flare will help.

Great ball easy too move inside and pitch it right, i was able to move inside of the line i used with my angular one 6 boards. The SD-73 revs up super hard and snaps off the dry boards it gave my low rev medium-high speed a whole new look. I am able to create around 6-6 1/2 inches of flare with a 4 1/4 x 4 drilling, oob the ball was early so i polished it right on top on the factory surface and then by hand knocked off some of the polish to get it where i needed it.

I like what Hank and company have created over the last 3 years, Roger is 1 st class and very helpful if you call or e-mail him. Storm is ok with me but Roto is up for me as my go to stuff, the Horizon series are my favorite balls of all time. The Vapor Zone is only ball i have owned that touches these for hit and predictability, i can say there is no Roto ball made in the last few years i have not at least like alot. Might pickup a Venus at some point or a Saturn if my shop has closeout, come on guys i know you read my posts on here

I'm looking forward to this one. I missed out on the originals and since i'm seeing slicker patterns then I have in the past, i'll actually have some use for it.

PS bring back the Blue Retro!

I have enough revs, but i STILL cant wait to drill this bad boy up!  I have them sitting less than 2 yards from where I am sitting to keep me teased! lol

I know that when the first sd-73 came out my brother who has a very low rev rate, and to much speed for his rev rate was able to get 8"-10" of flare on his sd-73. I am a high rev player, at that time I was a very rev dominated player. I would have to start the day out standing 30+. When he bought the first sd-73 he was standing left of me to keep it on the lane. I know first hand what this ball does for the lower rev players. I would say that anyone who is looking for a great ball to help get more flare and hook with there lower revs this is the ball.

Also I dont think that a high rev player only needs lower end stuff. Even we get on oil that is just to heavy so we do need that extra power in the bag, when need be.

P.S. Loving the reaction on my saga, yet I had to take it down to 1000 abralon with polish. It was very long and with very strong backend.
