Silver Streak Solid and SE

How similar are they? I got my hands on NIB Solid and now I just won the Special Edition on Ebay. How do they compare?

Joe,
Its S.E. not L.E. your gonna make some original fans angry thinking thats it being re released. LOL but at any rate, I own both of them 2 different layouts

Solid: Label
S.E.: Everything stacked under bridge

For me, the Solid is a lot smoother but that is also due to the layout.  Whereas the S.E. is a lot more jumpy for me on the backends, which is surprising for the layout I put on it.  But then again I believe that the advertisment for this ball was saying it would be a cross between the solid and the pearl. So it makes sense that the S.E. still gives a great midlane read with some pop on the backend due to its pearl/solid cover. I would say, if you want it closer to your Solid, drill it a tad weaker than the solid.  Or you can go with the same layout or a little stronger and get a nice ball above the Solid.

Hope that helps,
BMM

Oops Thanks for the correction, and the info BMM. I can't wait to put some holes in the Solid.

NP Joe, I have no doubt that you will love them both.  I only throw my solid on special occasions i.e. tourneys, I am too scared that I will mess it up LOL
