Cell
« on: September 08, 2008, 08:13:11 AM »
I just traded my Rival and Neptune straight up for a Cell. Threw it on some broke down lanes today. All I can say is this thing hooks. I was deeper than the middle arrow and throwing it as hard as I could out to about 8 and it was flying back. Usually when I get that deep I have to slow my speed down and add so axis tilt but not the case with the Cell. I know they were dry but I couldn't believe it wasn't burning up or anything. I just had trouble with it wanting to overhook if I got a touch slow or grabbed it a little. Can't  wait to get it on oil though.

I am sad to see my Rival go though. Funny though, my friend I traded with threw 300 with the Rival while we were there open bowling.  That ball was great to me (I don't mind if its great to him too, he is always on my team), I just changed my span and I could take the Cell without plugging it so I took the trade.

Got to throw it on oil finally so I figured I would update. All I can say about the Cell is WOW!! This is quickly becoming my favorite ball. It carries better than any ball I can remember. I actually found something in transition with it too. First game front 8 then opened 2 frames in a row, but I finished with a 691 not bad the first series with it.I am excited about next Tuesday so I can throw it again.

I have nice pin over ring Rival has some plug around the thumb, ball has maybe 10 games on it tops. Got it from an older bowler that could not throw it hard enough, spans are right at 4 1/4 with grips and thumb slug.

50.00 shipped and you have a rival back in action.

Pin down beneath the ring. Mass bias is about 1" over and 2 1/2" below the thumb
